'Warren Christie' Cast as Bruce Wayne for CW's Arrowverse

Updated: Nov 3, 2020

That's right you heard it. The Billionaire Playboy Philanthropist and Vigilante at night is finally coming to CW's Arrowverse!!!

Many of us have seen that the DC TV shows specifically CWverse or Arrowverse has been changing. Post Crisis on Infinite Earths they have established a new reality that brings together Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Blacklightning, Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow to take place all in the same universe. Essentially a reboot but within the canon of all the shows. Other DC projects such as the DCEU, the "Titansverse", Krypton, Gotham, Green Lantern, Blue Beetle, Smallville and Stargirl are staying as separate realities to the main CWverse.

At the end of the Batwoman's first series we are given our first look at the man playing her cousin Bruce Wayne. Enter Northern Irish born Canadian actor Warren Christie as the CWverse's canonical Bruce Wayne. The 6'1" 44 year old Irish Canadian will be third actor to portray Bruce Wayne in a live action TV show since the 2010s (fourth if you count Alain Moussi in Titans series 1). Warren Christie is best known for his roles as Ray Cotaldo in October Road, Aidan "Greggy" Stiveletto in Happy Town and Cameron Hicks in Alphas.

Its only a matter of time before we may get to see this version of Bruce Wayne team up with Tyler Hoechlin's Superman. Fingers crossed Legends of Tomorrow had introduced Themyscira where Helen of Troy chose to live out the rest of her life. Who knows they maybe looking to introduce Wonderwoman to the Arrowverse soon and we may get our DC Trinity altogether on the small screen. Its all coming together.
