Spider-Man Returning to the MCU for 2 More Movies
Updated: Oct 29, 2020
Sony and Disney have been negotiating over the future of Spiderman in the MCU. It appears that they have confirmed at least one more MCU film to complete the Spiderman trilogy that began with the Homecoming film.
Fortunately for us Web Headed Warriors, this will definitely not be Peter Parkers final appearance in the MCU as he will still be involved in the MCU's future
Kevin Feige had stated: "I am thrilled that Spidey's Journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it. "Spider-man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold."
Emphasis on "The only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes" !
Rumours have surfaced regarding the appearence of Venom in the MCU. Sony has reported to offer Disney 30% of Spiderman if they allow to work Venom into MCU. How this will go happen is still in the air and its unclear if this means we will get Tom Hardy's Venom as part of Tom Holland's franchise or a new separate version will be created with a new actor for Venom. But considering the success it had, we highly doubt that would be the case.
Either way, we're excited to have Tom Holland back in the MCU for a couple more ventures, and even more excited to see him cross over with Venom and upcoming Morbius and Madam Web!
Just incase your imagination is wondering like ours, here's a fan made clip we found online - DISCLAIMER ... Venom is hungry for a Spider!
