Michael B.Jordan Set To Direct 'Creed 3'
News for fans of the Rocky/Creed franchise, Creed is not only getting a third film but lead actor Michael B.Jordan is set to make his directorial debut for said film. The star of the Creed Franchise, Villain of Black Panther and slated producer of the upcoming Static Shock film will now move into directing whilst most likely reprising the role of Adonis 'Donnie' Creed for a third time in a row. It will be interesting to see what the third film will have in store and what Jordan will come up with for the film.
The Creed franchise gave us not only a stellar performance from Jordan and his on screen wife Tessa Thompson but also some memorable and respectable antagonist to oppose Donnie Creed. The first Creed film gave us British boxer 'Pretty' Ricky Conlan, a violent, bad tempered boxer from Liverpool portrayed by none other than real life heavyweight boxing champion Tony 'The Bomber' Bellew (using his natural scouser accent too). His character was able to show his admiration and respect for Donnie Creed in the end as the future of boxing in heartwarming finish.
Creed II took it a step further by reintroducing Ivan Drago (Played by Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren returning from Rocky 4) and his son Viktor Drago (Played by Romanian boxing champion Florian Munteanu). The film goes on to focus on both the struggles of both sides. Rocky and Creeds as well as the Father and Son Drago duo. Whats more impressive is seeing the raw emotional side form the Russians and even more impressive when we have a Swedish and Romanian actor speaking full Russian for their characters more personal and private scenes.
