Cineworld May Temporarily Shut Down In The British Isles

Cineworld owns 128 cinemas through out the British Isles, however due to the on going Covid-19 pandemic. The cinema chain could announce the decision which could put over 5,000 jobs at risk, according to reports.

Bosses of Cineworld Group PLC, the world second largest cinema chain, are reportedly preparing to write to Prime Minister Boris Johnson and culture minister Oliver Dowden to say the industry has become 'Unviable'.

The closing down of cineworld has also lead to the delays on film releases such as James Bond: No Time To Die and Fast and Furious 9 (F9). With the upcoming James Bond film to be rescheduled for a 2021 release on 2nd of April and F9 being delayed for release on 28th of May 2021.
